Denverites can expect another cloudy, cool day Monday, with light showers rolling in after the morning fog clears, according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature in Denver will be 67 degrees, decreasing to 51 degrees overnight, forecasters said. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the high temperatures are expected to increase back to the mid-70s.

The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook for northeastern and north central Colorado Monday, including Denver, that called for scattered showers and weak thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening.

For Tuesday through Sunday, forecasters expect the pattern of scattered showers and thunderstorms to continue, accompanied by below normal temperatures, according to the hazardous weather outlook.

The showers pose no threat of burn area flash floods today and tomorrow, with a limited threat on Wednesday, according to NWS.

The mountains and foothills will see the most rain, with activity peaking during the afternoons and evenings of Wednesday through Friday, NWS forecasters said.
