The all-new Triumph Daytona 660 will take on rivals such as the Honda CBR650R and the Yamaha YZF R7.

Triumph has teased the all-new Daytona 660. The new fully-faired motorcycle will be globally unveiled on January 9, 2024.

The teaser images showcase a glimpse of the motorcycle’s headlights and the ‘660’ numbering on the bottom part of the fairing. The ‘Daytona’ name will be revived by Triumph after the older iteration, the ‘Daytona 675R’ was axed from the brand’s lineup in 2017.

The all-new Dayton 660 will be the third motorcycle in Triumph’s 660cc lineup, following the Trident 660 & Tiger Sport 660. The new supersport model will be powered by the same engine which comes in the form of a 660cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It produces 80 BHP at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm; paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The new Triumph Daytona 660 could also share other components from the Trident & Tiger Sport siblings. This includes the suspension, brakes and alloy wheels, although it will be tuned differently to suit the characteristics of the supersport model.

Triumph is expected to introduce the Daytona 660 in the Indian market as well, with a launch expected during the latter half of 2024. The all-new Triumph Daytona 660 will take on rivals such as the Honda CBR650R and the Yamaha YZF R7.
