She says scammers lurk around tourist attractions in attempt to trick visitors and demand money\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>READ MORE:\u00a0I visited Egypt for a &#8216;dream&#8217; holiday and it turned out to be the worst trip ever: &#8216;I&#8217;ve never felt so uncomfortable&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Kicking off her list, Ms Cheng said she chose Egypt because &#8216;everyone is trying to make money out of you&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She also cited the feeling that, in her experience, &#8216;the scamming and embarrassment here was next level, especially at the big tourist attractions&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The vlogger also said that although her travel party had a tour guide present, &#8216;he still tried to push us to buy other things so it didn&#8217;t matter [that he was a guide]&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She added how she &#8216;didn&#8217;t feel safe&#8217; even with a tour guide by her side.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Ours had a lot of friends in the area and they just kept offering us tons and tons of upgrades, like climbing a rock to get a picture with the background,&#8217; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Gracie said it felt &#8216;scary&#8217; when she refused to pay the scammers and they kept demanding money.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;That being said though, if you have a good tour guide they will know what&#8217;s real and fake when it comes to scamming. So for that you can trust them,&#8217; she added.<\/p>\n<p>Gracie also would not recommend travelling to Egypt alone, especially if you&#8217;re a woman.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;When it comes to men they do stare at you, and it&#8217;s not even a normal stare, it&#8217;s one of those really uncomfortable stares where they&#8217;ll never take their eyes off of you,&#8217; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Grace added that, because she went in the summer, she found it &#8216;painfully hot&#8217;, despite waking up &#8216;every day at sunrise to beat the midday heat, [Gracie] was still drenched in sweat.<\/p>\n<p>Other users seemed to be in agreement with her take on Egypt, with one replying: &#8216;I feel you completely about Egypt! Pictured: the Sydney Opera House was projected with poppies on Remembrance Day 2023<\/p>\n<p>Grace rounded off her least favourite countries of 2023 with the popular holiday destination of Australia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although she conceded that she may not have planned for her trip down under with an ideal itinerary as both her sisters were living in the country at the time, she nevertheless felt that &#8216;there wasn&#8217;t really anything that stood out&#8217; as being a particularly memorable experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Having visited the tourist hotspots of Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Sydney, she admits she missed out by not being able to go the Great Barrier Reef.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, the travel vlogger was highly complimentary of Sydney, which she praised for having &#8216;great food&#8217; in the famed Spice Alley zone, which serves different types of Asian cuisine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Others found she was unnecessarily harsh on Singapore and Australia, with one reply reading: &#8216;Yep your itinerary in Singapore and AU sucked.
