<\/p>\nA wanted man was found near to the body of his 10-month-old baby just days after being seen muttering to himself naked.<\/p>\n
Suspected killer Jeremy Albert Best was found near to the body of his son, Zeke Best, around 24 miles east of Idaho Falls following a hunter calling in reports of a man in a sleeping bag at the side of the road.<\/p>\n
Bonneville County Sheriff's Office eventually identified the man as a wanted fugitive, who members of the force had been searching for since last Thursday (November 30). Best was wanted in connection with the death of his wife, Kali Jean Randall, 38.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement officials previously apprehended the wanted man around noon on Thursday after finding him in a state of undress and strolling through a general store, muttering to himself. The apprehension was made just hours before he allegedly killed his wife. <\/p>\n

Best was found slumped over a store counter next to the cash register, making "odd statements" to himself as he grabbed a cigarette before being carried out of the building, the New York Post reported.<\/p>\n
Medical tests were conducted once the man was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Centre and Best was released later that day. That night, he allegedly returned home to kill his wife and kidnap his child.<\/p>\n
An Amber Alert issued by police named Best as an "armed and very dangerous homicide and kidnapping suspect".<\/p>\n

He was later found by members of the force, who found a black SUV owned by the alleged murderer in an embankment area. Hunters discovered the vehicle and police presence at the scene began around 9.15am. <\/p>\n
Young Zeke was tragically pronounced dead at the scene though police have not issued any information regarding the cause of death or where the body was found. <\/p>\n
Best was later taken into custody after being treated by medics per an arrest warrant issued in connection with the death of his wife, Kali. <\/p>\n
