Police were forced to escort boisterous audience members out of the theatre after they got rowdy during Grease the Musical.<\/p>\n

Cops were called to a \u201cdisturbance\u201d on the balcony at the Dominion Theatre in London\u2019s West End yesterday (August 26).<\/p>\n

A commotion was captured on video as the show was interrupted with security forced to step in.<\/p>\n

As police escorted the culprits out of the building, other theatre-goers erupted into applause and chants of: "Out, out, out!"<\/p>\n

An officer can be seen stooping down to speak to a man and a woman in the audience, while another officer then appears to gesture to another couple to leave.<\/p>\n

It is understood that around eight officers from the Metropolitan Police in attendance.<\/p>\n

According to The Mirror, seats on the balcony cost between \u00a359.50 and \u00a3150 each.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Met Police said: "Shortly before 8.40pm on Saturday, August 26, police received reports of two men and two women causing a disturbance at a theatre in Tottenham Court Road, W1.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers attended and the group were escorted from the premises. No arrests. No injuries reported."<\/p>\n

Two police cars and a police van were pictured outside the theatre with their blue lights flashing.<\/p>\n

It is not known what caused the ruckus, however, someone commented on the clip claiming that it was due to someone being \u201crude, abusive, and refusing to leave\u201d.<\/p>\n

They said: "No one seems to know (what happened) but bar staff claimed they'd been rude or abusive and just wouldn't leave and kept on arguing, guessing too much drink."<\/p>\n
