New Prime Minister Liz Truss is already under massive pressure to tackle the cost-of-living crisis – but what do you think she should do about it all?
So far, the PM has remained tight-lipped on plans to help bring down those scarily high energy bills, but on Monday it was revealed a hugely welcome price freeze was on the cards.
The scheme, set to be announced on Thursday, could see bills frozen at around the current price cap of £1,971 up until 2024.
Firm details of plans to get the economy back on its feet will likely not be revealed until the Budget later in the autumn, but Truss has pledged a 'bold' move to cut taxes and boost growth.
Ms Truss has also ruled out cutting public spending to save money.
It's still early days, so we're interested to hear what you think Ms Truss should do to get the country back on its feet
