A murdered poker player was burnt alive and left with her tongue on fire, according to new court documents.
Susie Zhao was also sexually assaulted and was alive when she was set on fire.
Dr Andrew Hanosh, the deputy medical examiner, revealed Susie's hair had burnt off during the horrifying ordeal along with her tongue.
The court testimony also said soot was found in her airway after the attack which took place in July.
Dr Hanosh said: "It was extensively burned.
"I would estimate at least 90% of the body’s surface area."
Jeffrey Morris, 60, has been accused of killing the 33-year-old whose body was discovered on July 13 in Michigan.
According to the medical examiner, Susie's genitals were also damaged, suggesting she had been sexually assaulted with a large object.
Reports say a baseball bat covered in blood was found at the scene of the crime.
On July 13, two men found Susie's body in a parking lot at around 8am – one man claimed the body was so badly disfigured he was not sure it was a real body.

Ronald Granville said: "It was hard to tell if it was Halloween prank or mannequin that was burned."
Morris, who is a registered sex offender is due to go on trial after being charged with first-degree murder.
Hours before Susie's death, on July 12, phone records showed eight calls between the accused and the victim.
Susie and Morris stayed at Sherwood Motel before the duo made their way to a remote area, the court heard.
The poker player was last seen alive by her mum at around 5.30pm the day before her body was found.
In Morris's statement to the cops, he said Susie had left the motel at midnight "and took all of her belongings including her cell phone with her," reports Mail Online.
However, Susie's phone can be traced at the motel till around 5am, the same time CCTV captured Morris leaving the premises.
