Police are being urged to hunt for the boyfriend of an Argentinian model who was found dead in her bathroom by her sister.
Agostina Jalabert, 31, who was renting an apartment in Mexico, was found in her bath with her hands tied and body heavily bruised, while hanging 4ft from the ground on a towel rack.
It had been ruled by the Mexican Quintana Roo State Attorney General's Office that the woman had taken her own life, but the woman's family has been pressurising the Argentinian Foreign Ministry to tell its Mexican counterparts to change the ruling.

Her father Edgardo, who lives in Argentina with the rest of the woman's family, said: “The autopsy, according to the lawyer, reveals that this is a femicide due to the injuries my daughter has.”
And his lawyer Betina Teuly said there was “sufficient evidence” behind claims that the model's boyfriend Juan Reverter is responsible for the alleged murder, local news outlets report.
His whereabouts are currently unknown, but her uncle German said: “None of the basic protocols were applied to investigate and find out the real causes of his death.
“The boyfriend was not arrested, his phone was not seized, nor were toxicological tests carried out, nor was it verified if he had any injuries.
"He ran like a coward.

“He never communicated with us and he did not give any explanation, since he lived with my daughter for the last two months.
"The only information we have is that the father lives in Mexico, but they told me he went to Canada or New Zealand.”
It has been claimed by the family's lawyer that the boyfriend had “scratches” on his face at the time the woman was found dead.
The police investigation continues, as does the hunt for Juan Reverter.
Neither Argentinian or Mexican authorities have commented on the family's claims.
