Video footage has emerged online of the extent of the intense weather conditions seen around London. Major flooding has occurred at the London underground Sloane Square Station on the Circle and District line as well as many other places around the capital. The Circle Line has been completely suspended as TFL attempt to deal with the flooding situation.

The District and Hammersmith and City line have been partially suspended with some stations and tubes operating.

Other footage has emerged of underground station Baker Street also having issues with flooding.

Social media users have expressed their surprise at the scenes and freak weather across the capital.

One Twitter user wrote on the scenes at Sloane Square and said: “This is just awful, I knew Sloane Square had flooding issues before but I never imagined it could have water run down the stairs.
