Prince Harry is wanting a "private apology" as a means to end the "toxic stalemate" with King Charles and Prince William.
But hopes for the Duke of Sussex to receive such an apology may have fallen on deaf ears as one insider believes the Prince of Wales and his father have "no intention of saying sorry".
It comes as a wrought period for the Royal Family continues, but the King of England is adamant on having both sons present for his coronation in May, The Mirror reported.

That may prove difficult as the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle are yet to decide on their attendance, and it may rest in the hands of a potential apology.
Expert Tom Bower said: "Harry has been very clear and his position hasn't wavered – he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral."
That "toxic" atmosphere may be a breaking point for the Duke, who has previously said "the ball is in their court" regarding a potential reunion.
A source believed to be a family friend has claimed the Prince of Wales has "no intention" of apologising.
They said: "I hear that William has no intention whatsoever of apologising and remains incandescent, especially around the way his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been treated."

Nobody is quite certain of what Meghan and Harry will decide on, with another royal expert, Omid Scobie, saying the couple has "yet to be invited".
One unnamed source has since claimed that the Duke of Sussex is expecting a private "apology" from both Charles and William before he even considers attending.
Daily Star had previously reported the King of England's plans for having both the Cambridge and Sussex families at the event, in a plan described as "rife with problems".
Expert Daniela Elser said that the so-called "Harry in a hurry scheme" was "rife with problems".
