One lucky Brit could be on the verge of winning the biggest National Lottery jackpot in history if they scoop Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
An estimated £172 million is up for grabs if the jackpot is scooped by a single ticket holder.
On Tuesday, the winning main EuroMillions numbers were 11, 13, 14, 36, 45 and the winning lucky star numbers were 07, 09.
No-one won the top prize earlier this week, leading to tonight's jackpot being the biggest potential win ever.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: “Friday’s exciting EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated £172 million.
“If one UK winner banks the entire sum, they would instantly become Britain’s biggest ever National Lottery winner.”
A sole jackpot win would eclipse the UK’s current record prize of £170,221,000, which was won by an anonymous player in a EuroMillions draw on October 8 back in 2019.
This year has already been a good one for mammoth lottery payouts, with two of the 10 biggest wins coming in 2021.
An anonymous ticket holder scooped £122,550,350 in a draw on April 2, while £111,540,000 was claimed in a SuperDraw just two months later.
To put the prize in perspective, the potential winner would immediately earn the average UK salary 5,467 times over.
They could also afford to purchase more than 340 average properties in London, as well as surpassing Novak Djokovic’s career winnings of £110 million with enough left over to buy a G6 private jet worth £47,650,000.

Punters will need to be keeping their eyes on tickets tonight as surprisingly some jackpots in the past have gone unclaimed.
Even as recently as September this year, a person who bought a ticket in St Helens, Merseyside won a life-changing £1 million but the prize was unclaimed with the winner given until March 2022 to claim.
