Denver will have a warm and sunny start to the week before rain and possibly snow moves into the area Monday night.

The region will see sunny skies with a high of 65 degrees Sunday, and Monday will be even warmer, with a high of 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.

The weather will turn colder Sunday night, with possible rain before 9 p.m. and possible snow after 10 p.m. and into Tuesday morning, according to the weather service.

No more than an inch of accumulation is expected, forecasters said. Tuesday will bring an about 40% chance of snow before the weather warms up again.

Temps are expected to hit the mid-50s on Wednesday and continue climb through the end of the week, reaching a high of 74 degrees on Saturday.
