It’s going to be a sunny day in the Denver area, but cold and snow may be coming back soon.

The temperature will reach a high of 53 degrees with 6-10 mph winds that may gust up to 16 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. In the evening, skies will stay mostly clear as the temperature drops to 28.

Colder weather returns Tuesday with a forecast of partly sunny skies and a high of 40 degrees. Breezy winds of 8-17 mph are expected, and may gust as high as 28 mph. There is a 20% chance of snow after 11 a.m. The low will fall to 19 degrees.

It gets even colder on Wednesday as the high is expected to reach just 30 with a 20% chance of snow. The low is expected to be 19.

Sunny skies are expected the rest of the week with highs of 39 for Thursday, 49 for Friday and 52 for Saturday.
