The former wife of twisted morgue killer David Fuller has revealed how his twisted crimes brought an end to their marriage.
67-year-old monster Fuller has admitted to murdering two women 34 years ago and sexually assaulting at least 100 corpses in the hospital where he worked.
The corpses he abused ranged in age from a nine-year-old girl to a 100-year-old woman.
Fuller originally thought he had gotten away with the murders of Caroline Pierce and Wendy Knell, but changed his plea to guilty at Maidstone Crown Court in Kent this week.
Now, his wife, Mala, 50, has admitted to Mail Online that his gruesome crimes were more than she could handle, saying: "I'm not with him. I couldn't carry on in that relationship.
"I'm too upset to even think about what was going on, I couldn't live with it. You can't imagine how distraught I am.
"I could not stay in that house knowing what he did and what went on in there. I wanted to be alone and want to live my life alone."
Mala, who originates from Trinidad, sobbed to the publication as she confirmed that she had moved out of the home she shared with Fuller in Heathfield, East Sussex for the past 20 years four months ago.
Neighbours claim Mala had told them her marriage to Fuller was over just weeks after his arrest in December 2020.
One said: "She made it clear that she wasn't going to continue with him but how could any sane person?
"Mala's sister has been helping her through this very difficult time. She had to stay in the house until she found alternative accommodation but as soon as she could, she got out and I don't blame her. Nobody can stay married to a monster like that."

After a judge lifted a reporting ban it can be revealed Fuller, who is married with a son, is one of Britain's most prolific sex offenders.
In court, Fuller was described as a "controlled sexual deviant who preyed on young women and derived sexual gratification from the violation of their dead bodies".
DNA evidence that was 160,000 times more likely to have come from Fuller than anyone else linked Fuller to the murder of Knell and Peirce.
Following his arrest for the murders, a search of Fuller's home revealed he had hoarded millions of indecent images and videos of children and extreme pornography on hard drives, floppy discs, DVDs and memory cards in his loft and spare room.
On these officers found footage Fuller had recorded of himself abusing corpses in the morgues.
