An Afghani asylum seeker who murdered two people with an AK-47 before killing again in the UK posed as a schoolboy chatted up underage girls.

Lawangeen Abdulrahimzai was found guilty of murdering aspiring Royal Marine Thomas Roberts, 21, outside a branch of Subway in Bournemouth on March 12, 2022.

He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 29 years.

At the time of his arrest, the migrant told police he was aged 16 – but it was later determined during his trial at Salisbury Crown Court that he was in fact 21.

During the case that it emerged Abdulrahimzai had already been found guilty of shooting dead two fellow Afghans in Serbia.

Despite being sentenced in his absence to 20 years in prison, he was able to deceive UK authorities and assume the life of a schoolboy, being placed with a British foster mother and even attending a school here.

There, he allegedly "asked girls out" according to one furious mother of students at the school, who spoke to Mail Online.

Abbie Mercy said the killer enrolled at Winton Academy, Bournemouth, and mixed with students freely.

She said: "This scumbag was placed at Winton in my son’s year after he had murdered two people at pretty much point blank range!

"He was allowed to be with two of my children on a daily basis under the assumption he was 14. He was asking girls out."

Cherri Parsons, whose teenage daughter was in the same year as Abdulrahimzai, added that she was "fuming" when she discovered he would be placed with her daughter.

"Any kind of inappropriate behaviour could have occurred as he was asking 14-year-old girls out and changing with 14-year-old boys in PE," she told the Mail.

Another student's mum said Abdulrahimzai was 'the school bully'. She said he even got expelled because of fighting.

"What I also find horrifying is that he was brazenly chatting up 14-year-old girls at lunchtime. He would come over and sit with them, it was really creepy. He asked a few girls out even though they were under age," she added.

It was also reported that the 21-year-old boasted about his love of knives on TikTok.

Arriving in December 2019, he told Border Force he had fled his home country of Afghanistan after his parents were killed by the Taliban and he was “tortured” by them.

Abdulrahimzai was convicted on Monday for the murder of Mr Roberts after the jury at Salisbury Crown Court took just 12 hours to find him guilty with a majority verdict.
