An England-mad dad is so convinced football's coming home that he's gone and tattooed "Euro 2020 England winners" on his leg – days before the final's even been played.
Lewis Holden 26, is so confident that the Three Lions will bring home the trophy that on Thursday he had the bold declaration of England winning inked on his skin forever.
The tattoo also reads "It's Coming Home" in huge letters on his leg, along with a trophy.
But the dad, from Shaw in Oldham, doesn't think he's jinxing England ahead of their huge Euro 2020 game against Italy at Wembley on Sunday, the Manchester Evening News reports.
"I haven't jinxed it, I've made it come home," he said.
"Everybody has been saying that but it's not going to jinx it, I'm confident."
Lewis made a pact with a friend that they should both get England tattoos if Gareth Southgate's side won the tournament.
But after having a few beers during the semi-final on Wednesday, he started to send messages to local tattoo parlours on Facebook asking if they could fit him in.
"One replied to me saying he could fit me in tomorrow then I just forgot about it, I'd had a few beers by that point", Lewis said.
He took the parlour up on the offer and got the tattoo done yesterday.
Lewis already has tattoos so he "wasn't too bothered" when getting it done.
His girlfriend, Chloe Lynch, thought he was an 'idiot' at first but has since seen the funnier side.
Euro 2020: Businesses and schools to open late on Monday to let fans enjoy Sunday final
"On Monday, everybody will be queuing up for this tattoo", Lewis added.
"I might even get a Phil Foden haircut too if we win."
Lewis will be watching the historic match at his local pub on Sunday.
The game is due to kick off at 8pm.
Victory at Wembley would mark the men’s football team’s first major tournament win since the 1966 World Cup.
