The Prime Minister is facing pressure over his response to the pandemic, with Labour still raging at Mr Johnson’s failure to sack Matt Hancock on Friday afternoon. The former Health Secretary did not resign his position until the following day after a barrage of criticism from MPs from all sides.

Today is the first time Boris Johnson has faced Sir Keir Starmer since the Matt Hancock scandal unravelled last Friday.
Labour has been critical of the Prime Minister’s failure to sack the Suffolk West MP on Friday when the story about him breaking Covid rules first emerged.
Sir Keir branded the Prime minister “weak” over the decision last weekend.
He will likely challenge Mr Johnson on the matter at PMQs.
