Bangalore-based EV start-up, Ultraviolette, has released a teaser video of its upcoming F77 electric bike. It is set to debut in the first half of this year.
The Ultraviolette F77 is powered by an electric motor that has a maximum output of 33.5 BHP and 450 Nm. The bike is claimed to accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 140 km/h.
The battery is located where the engine would be in a conventional bike. It is said to offer a maximum range of 150 km on a single charge. The bike has multiple riding modes and a regenerative braking system.
The F77 looks unlike any other electric bike on the market today. It’s a fully-faired bike with an aggressive riding posture. It is equipped with upside-down forks at the front and has a mono-shock at the rear.
