The XUV300 W6 Diesel AMT variant does not even get a touchscreen infotainment system.

Deleting certain features from variants has become a common practice these days. The latest model to lose some of its features is the Mahindra XUV300 W6.

Mahindra has removed the rear spoiler and black plastic cladding from the W6 variant. Inside, the SUV now misses out on features like a rear centre armrest, rear adjustable headrests and 60:40 split-folding rear seat. The W6 Diesel AMT seen in these images does not get a touchscreen infotainment system either.

Earlier this year, Mahindra had also deleted some features from the top-spec W8 (O) variant. It lost the 3-point seatbelt for the middle passenger and no longer comes with heated ORVMs.

While Mahindra’s product team has been tinkering with the features’ list, the carmaker has also been increasing the prices of its models. In fact, the on-road price of the W6 Diesel variant was hiked by Rs. 90,000 in May this year.
